It’s hard to believe that we are one year in the house! Just to let you know how much we love it. We still receive comments from everyone that comes to the house, with the burnished floor always being a positive talking point. The floor plan has proven to be very liveable and practical. With no discernible building defects over the past 12 months, it is a testament to the quality of the homes you build. We enlisted the services of ROAR Construction to extend/makeover our existing family home (from a 1960’s double brick 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, small kitchen and living area). We are thrilled with the final result – we now have a functional (and modern) 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home complete with additional living and outdoor decking areas that will see us into the future with our growing children. The process from initiation to completion was seamless, coming in on time and budget. Nothing was too much trouble for Jono and Celine, they always replied to our questions/queries in a timely fashion (and often in person) and provided additional help/ideas with sourcing products where needed. After a long search, we chose ROAR Construction to extend and renovate our home at Vale Park and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We’re a family with 3 boys in a typical “renovator’s delight” 1920s red brick bungalow in a heritage area: 2 bedrooms, original kitchen, lean-to. We’ve loved living here for nearly 15 years and the time came when we could afford to do some work on the house. I knew some people locally who had enlisted ROAR Construction to do their reno, and their comments were “on time, on budget, and Jono is awesome”. That was good enough for me. Signing on through to demolition was exactly 12 months, with minimal council issues thanks to Jono’s management. The next 5 months were incredibly seamless – even exciting – outside port-a-loo, the washing machine on the front verandah, the dust, and all 5 of us sleeping in one room notwithstanding. This was due to Jono’s expert project management, his friendly and efficient team of tradies, and the fact that ROAR Construction was making real a dream we had held for 15 years. We met with several home builders before deciding to move forward with Jono and Celine Slee from ROAR Construction … and we have been congratulating ourselves (and them!) ever since. Jono’s meticulous attention to detail, solutions-focused mindset and forward thinking made the entire process, from Council approval through to post-completion, virtually stress-free. The testimonials from previous clients sounded too good to be true, but it’s difficult to overstate the professionalism of ROAR Construction; our project came in under time, on budget, and with a finished product that surpassed our expectations. After 18 months of searching and meeting with other builders, we built our family home with ROAR Construction. Jono and Celine were like a breath of fresh air after dealing with seemingly misleading representatives from other house builders in Adelaide, SA. We were impressed with ROAR Construction’s attention to detail and commitment to our project from our very first meeting, in fact, before we had even signed a contract. They were upfront, clear and realistic about our building plans. ROAR Construction recently completed our addition in Colonel Light Gardens and we were absolutely thrilled with the result. Wow, what a fantastic experience building with ROAR Construction. After spending two years researching house builders here and interstate, our new home was completed on time, on budget and surpassed all our expectations. We had built a new home and also extensively renovated before, however, this was a totally different experience. ROAR Construction has recently completed a total home makerover and addition for us. The level of service provided by Jonathon and Celine Slee and their tradesmen has been outstanding. We are writing this to unreservedly recommend ROAR Construction to others who might be thinking of building, or adding to their home. Their work was always professional and they kept to the time schedule agreed between us. Jonathon was at all times approachable, available and reliable. He would always reply to our questions without delay, providing sensible and creative solutions to any problems that arose. For example, we wanted an item that was not available in Australia so he arranged to have it manufactured from stainless steel in China and shipped to Australia for us, at a very reasonable price. He had it installed the day it arrived in Australia. ROAR Construction and their contractors were all polite and considerate towards our neighbours. They also kept the site safe and clean during the whole building period. In summary, we would recommend Jonathon Slee as a builder as well as a thorough supervisor and a good person to deal with. ROAR Construction turned our ideas into reality!

We are extremely pleased with the recent alterations and addition ROAR Construction completed on our 1910 Federation Villa, retaining the character of the old home and extending our kitchen/living and outdoor entertaining area into an extremely open and modern environment. The builder’s attention to detail was excellent and the workmanship of the varying trades employed is by far a very high standard. We were extremely satisfied with the experience of using ROAR Construction for our recent home addition. Australian Caravan Co had a list of requirements that needed to be met by the successful builder. When we started our renovation/addition we did not know what to expect – it was our first time undertaking any building work, let alone such a huge project. From first meeting Jonathon Slee, we were impressed by his organisation, communication and attention to detail – which continued throughout the building process. Not only was the renovation completed on time and within our specified budget the workmanship was exceptional. Jonathon kept us fully informed every step of the way, his communication was excellent and he would always let us know the “solution” to any issues, rather than ringing us with a “problem”.
